Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to let you know that the National Education Union (NEU) has declared strike action, which will take place on 2nd March 2023, 15th March 2023 and 16th  March 2023.  The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over teacher’s pay and not because of any issues at our school.

On these dates learning may be disrupted.  We are considering several options, in line with guidance, and will confirm our plans to you as soon as we can.

Your sincerely,

Ms Afreedi

News regarding Strike

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you may have seen on the news today, teachers in the NEU have voted to take strike action. At present we are awaiting our ‘two week’ notice which is required by law from the NEU to confirm if and when industrial action is to take place. As soon as we have any further information, we shall of course update you.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Mrs Walker if you have any questions.

Best wishes

Ms Afreedi
