Year 1 children begin learning instruments! We have been awarded a grant from a charity called ‘Restore the Music’ which has paid for all of our instruments for children in Year 1. This enables everyone to have the opportunity to learn one of the following; violin, viola, cello or mini-bass. We are absolutely delighted and incredibly grateful to ‘Restore the Music’ for their support of the school.

The children are building on all of their early musicianship work throughout Reception and will be performing together for the first time at Christmas.
