Children have had an extremely enriched week at Hackney New Primary with iDiscover Week focussing on Science Technology Engineering and Maths. This is delivered in partnership with an organisation called INSPIRE. Each class had a some STEM related projects to work on, meeting a range of people who also have careers in that area. In Reception, a cake went missing and children have been using forensic science to try and find out what happened to it. In Year 1, children have been looking at robotics and Year 2 have had a topic called My Biology. There is further detail about these projects in the year group sections in the newsletter.
