Last week we also celebrated Hackney History Week. We wandered down Hackney’s streets and looked at buildings old and new, visited Hackney Museum and learned all about how Hackney’s community has developed over time.
Coach Dan has joined the team at HNPS and has been in coaching us in P.E. The children are really making progress and gaining a greater appreciation for fitness and healthy lifestyle.
Reception have started making their very own busy books. We can’t wait to see how the children will express themselves and their interests!

Forest School offers meaningful learning, fresh air, and an opportunity for free play and exploration of the outdoor world, in a safe, risk-assessed setting.
Outdoors, we have been using the gifts that Autumn gives us to do some measuring. Year 2 are estimating and calculating the length of leaves using non-standard units (conkers).
KS1 are studying Geography this term. We will be delving into Atlas’, diving into oceans, parading around our locale and hopping across the continents!
